In recent years, Kanagawa Prefectural Gallery has been exhibiting installations by young and active artists, such as From in silence by Chiharu Shiota (2007), Between this and that by Takehito Koganezawa (2008), Kneading by Taro Izumi (2010), and many others.
This time, we are going to present an individual exhibition of works by Hiraki Sawa. He based in London, continues to present his works all over the world.
Making the most of the space in the largest room at Kanagawa Prefectural Gallery, Hako (2007), the large-scale work using six screens which was shown at The National Art Center, Tokyo in 2008, will be reproduced. We hope you will fully enjoy the videos by this artist who is currently the most remarkable among the young artists.
